The Contract Writer position is a flexible hourly contract position that involves working with our Programs team or other teams to execute annual CDFI Fund programs. Similar to a Consultant, Contract Writers work with lending data, demographic data, and Sones & White’s CDFI Programs processes and tools to draft grant applications and other written work product for our bank clients.

As a Contract Writer, you will be trained on how to draft a particular application and given various tools to complete your drafting. An ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong writing skills who is detail oriented and manages deadlines well.

Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is beneficial, but not necessary. Prior CDFI experience is not required.
