Kate Bar is the Director of Certification & Compliance for Sones & White Consulting. Originally from the Southwest, Kate worked in the financial industry prior to moving overseas. She lived in the Middle East for several years, serving in full time ministry. During this time, Kate learned the local language and obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology and human services. She later went on to get her master’s degree in applied psychology. In 2022, Kate returned to the States and settled in Mississippi.

Kate’s personal and professional life experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective as well as the confidence to navigate a variety of challenging situations. She is a life-long learner and dedicated to excellence. Kate is excited to devote her skills to helping our clients navigate a complex and evolving CDFI compliance landscape.

Kate enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
