Kate Bar is the Compliance Manager for Sones & White Consulting. Originally from the Southwest, Kate worked at Morgan Stanley prior to moving overseas. She lived in the Middle East for several years and served in ministry, first as a Guidance Counselor and later as the director of Human Resources for the local Bible College. During this time, Kate learned the local language and obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology and human services. She later went on to get her master’s degree in applied psychology from Liberty University. In 2022, Kate returned to the States and settled in Mississippi with her son.

Kate’s personal and professional life experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective as well as the confidence to navigate a variety of challenging situations. She is a life-long learner and dedicated to excellence. Kate is excited to devote her skills to helping our clients navigate a complex and evolving CDFI compliance landscape.

Kate enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
